BBC Radio 1.6 Update

Superseded by version 2.2.

Finally. So what’s new?

  • Avoids a crash if you have no internet connection – displays a polite notice instead
  • Added regional radio stations for Scotland, Wales and Ireland

Future plans are a complete rewrite (eventually, for v2.0) and in the short term complete listings of BBC Local Radio. That’ll be a pain though, not least because I’ll have to make images for each one, and that will take forever!

I’m back

Well, I’ve returned from Abersoch, and work has finally let up enough for me to think about doing some more stuff. In the time before I go back to uni I’m hoping to rush out a couple of updates, not least the long-delayed BBC Radio v1.6 – I’ve got a candidate for release that I’ve been using for a couple of months myself, although I’d been hoping to fix a couple of things before it goes live. With thoughts of a totally rewritten v2, though, I may just release 1.6 as it is. Growl styles need work too…
