You can add me to the list too. Realplayer 11, open dashboard and radio plays, close dashboard and it stops.

Hi there!

I am having a strange problem with real player… Started last sunday, and after then, use to work perfectly. I keep getting a message “Requested file not found. The link may be outdated or inaccurate”. I am pretty sure I get the right link, and this is only happening on Mac OS. When I try to open the same link on a Windows system, everything works fine… It’s driving me crazy! Please help!

Run RealPlayer, let it install the plugin. Then restart.

i am having a bit of a problem with bbcradio widget 3.1 it installs ok but when i try to play anything it says it cant find the realplayer plugin in i have the latest realplayer 10 in my applications folder i have a intel mac

If youâ€™re having trouble installing this widget on a case-sensitive filesystem use Terminal to cd into the widget directory and issue the command:

mv default.png Default.png

After which it should install fine.

Just discovered something everyone else probably knows: the copies of BBC Radio Widget work independently inside and outside dashboard, so you can have 2 stations playing at once. I can listen to Radio 3 music and Test Match Special on Radio 5 Live Extra. But I have to turn the cricket off for long periods because on Day 1 of the first Ashes test hearing about England’s “bowling” is too painful. I dip in every half hour or so by sliding the volume up from zero to hear if the awfulness has continued.

i read read all the encoraging posts, and hoped…. i still cannot get realplayer to work on BBC. It used to work , but stopped a few months ago, for no apparent rrson. i run imac, 10.4.7, duo core 2.16ghz et al. open with rosetta, perhaps my proxies are wrong, perhaps my connection speeds are wrong… butwhat should they be and how do i find out what my airport settings / cable modem settings are so that i can configure it correctly…? please help.
